Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao, or CZ, has received heartfelt gratitude from patients whose lives were transformed through medical aid facilitated by his charity work.
In a touching post on X, CZ re-shared a message and video of two patients whose recovery was made possible through such aid.
One woman, who for a long time had found it extremely hard to breathe and walk essentially because of severe heart valve disease, was now able to receive life-saving surgery.
The 17-year-old boy was afflicted with a terrible jaw problem that interfered so much with his speech and eating that he had the operation in Chiang Mai that gave him back the capability to open his mouth freely, speak clearly, and eat normally.
Restoring Health, Dignity, and Hope
In his post, CZ mentioned that, beyond all else, these medical procedures must also mend dignity, hope, and quality of life for the very same patients, as well as their families.
CZ specified that he had had no hand in either selecting or meeting the patients in the video, for the work was instead done via reputable charity organizations such as the ones in the video.
The plan focuses on the power of collective giving, whereby organized programs and community-driven initiatives can be leveraged to target urgent medical needs worldwide.
His “every little bit helps” mantra focused on the fact that even limited funds can have life-altering consequences.
