Solana has unveiled its latest web3 mobile device, the Seeker, which promises top-tier hardware and software integration at a significantly lower price.

Priced at half the cost of its predecessor, the Seeker is designed for enhanced security, functionality, and an improved user experience.

It is set to revolutionize mobile use in the blockchain space with its advanced features, making decentralized applications (dApps) and web3 more accessible to users.

What Makes Solana’s Seeker Stand Out?

Seeker integrates state-of-the-art hardware and software, offering a lighter design, a brighter display, a better camera, and a longer battery life, according to Solana Mobile’s official X (Twitter) thread.

The foundation of its security is the Seed Vault, which has evolved with the launch of the Seed Vault Wallet, which was made in association with Solflare Wallet.

Managing self-custody transactions is made easier with this mobile-only wallet, which makes sending and receiving cryptocurrency assets as easy as double tapping.

Significant updates have also been made to the Solana Mobile dApp Store, which now offers improved navigation, zero-fee cryptocurrency-friendly policies, and a dedicated location for web3 experiences. dApps that are only available through Seeker will soon be released, and users will be able to manage all of their rewards in one location.

A Token for Exclusive Access

A Seeker Genesis Token, a soulbound NFT that grants VIP access to benefits, content, and unique experiences inside the Solana ecosystem, is included with every Seeker. This feature makes sure that developers of dApps and builders may communicate with real members of the Solana community, which promotes the growth of DeFi, games, NFTs, and payments.

Whether you use Seeker as a dedicated web3 device at home or as your primary mobile device, it promises to put the entire potential of Solana’s ecosystem right into your pocket.

The phone can also be used with DePIN apps, such as Helium Mobile, which will provide four months of free data as well as Seeker-only network mapping options.

Users of Seeker can also take advantage of Moonshot by Dexscreener, which enables automatic allocation to other users and single-click project initiation.

The Seeker ecosystem will provide these initiatives with more discoverability. In honour of the debut, Solana is giving the Seeker away for a special $450 Founder Window price, which is valid through September 21st.

What’s in for Web3 Gamers in Seeker?

Seeker provides gamers with unique web3 gaming experiences. One such game is Parallel Colony, which will launch on the Solana Mobile dApp Store with limited edition awards and materials.

Additionally, Helius Labs’ latest Airship provides a zk-compression technique that cuts airdrop costs by 4,000 times. A project launching on Solana Mobile can now airdrop for as little as $100, compared to the previous cost of $40,000. This makes airdrops much more accessible.

The first blockchain to incorporate AI was Solana, but Seeker goes one step further by enabling users to use Alethea AI to develop tokenised AI agents. By interacting on-chain with programs and the Solana community, these agents can open up new avenues for user engagement and revenue generation within the ecosystem.
