Chainlink has launched its Automated Compliance Engine (ACE) in partnership with Apex Group, GLEIF, and the ERC-3643 Association, aiming to streamline compliance across both traditional and decentralized finance.

Built on the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), ACE provides a modular framework for real-time policy enforcement, identity verification, and ongoing compliance monitoring across public and private blockchains.

Apex, GLEIF Integrate ACE for Token Issuance and On-Chain Identity Verification

Apex Group is integrating ACE with ERC-3643 and ONCHAINID to simplify permissioned token issuance, while GLEIF brings verifiable Legal Entity Identifiers (vLEIs) on-chain for trusted identity verification.

The ERC-3643 Association is also working with Chainlink to create a compliance-ready token standard leveraging ACE.

The engine automates identity checks, KYC/AML processes, sanction screenings, and regulatory rules directly within smart contracts—enhancing data privacy and lowering onboarding complexity.

This solution addresses one of the major barriers to institutional crypto adoption by enabling secure and compliant digital asset issuance.

Now in early access, ACE is designed to unlock access to an estimated $100 trillion in institutional capital by merging the strengths of decentralized technology with regulatory trust.

With ACE, Chainlink is positioning itself as a foundational layer for the future of automated, cross-chain compliance in global finance.

Alexandre Kech, CEO of GLEIF commented, “We welcome the integration of the vLEI into Chainlink’s Automated Compliance Engine as a powerful example of how verifiable organizational identity can enhance compliance across blockchain ecosystems.

“As regulatory expectations evolve in both digital and traditional finance, we encourage all financial institutions to explore with their solution providers how adopting the vLEI can strengthen trust, interoperability, and auditability in their compliance frameworks.” they added.

Chainlink ACE Delivers Modular, Privacy-Focused Compliance Solution

Chainlink’s Automated Compliance Engine (ACE) offers a robust solution to regulatory challenges by providing a modular, privacy-preserving compliance framework.

It seamlessly integrates existing identity systems with onchain infrastructure and supports both onchain and offchain policy enforcement.

This allows regulated financial institutions to deploy assets on public, permissionless blockchains while still meeting compliance standards.

With ACE, institutions can embed compliance rules directly into smart contracts, verify credentials such as KYC/AML without exposing sensitive personal data, and coordinate identity attestations across different blockchains and jurisdictions.

This innovative approach not only reduces onboarding complexity but also enables secure and scalable institutional participation in decentralized finance, making ACE a critical tool for bridging the gap between traditional financial regulation and emerging blockchain ecosystems.

Chainlink ACE Unveils Full-Service Suite for Compliance-Driven Digital Assets

Chainlink’s Automated Compliance Engine (ACE) introduces a comprehensive suite of managed services designed to accelerate the creation of compliance-focused digital assets and financial infrastructure.

At its core is the Cross-Chain Identity (CCID) Framework, which enables the secure representation of investor identities and credentials—such as KYC, AML, and accredited investor status—across multiple blockchains using cryptographic proofs.

The Cross-Chain Token (CCT) Compliance Extension allows any token to integrate compliance capabilities through Chainlink services.

The Policy Manager provides a customizable engine for defining and enforcing rules directly within smart contracts, supporting both onchain and offchain execution.

The Identity Manager acts as middleware, connecting real-world identity systems to onchain formats while preserving privacy by avoiding onchain storage of sensitive data.

Additionally, the Monitoring & Reporting Manager offers continuous oversight of smart contracts and infrastructure, detecting anomalies and enabling real-time alerts, risk mitigation, and detailed compliance reporting.

This suite of tools equips institutions with everything needed to manage identity, enforce policies, and ensure regulatory alignment across public and private blockchain environments.
