Ealier today, on 18th June, Bitget crypto exchange launched Bitget PRO to meet the needs of high‑volume traders. The new program offers lower fees, higher withdrawal limits, and faster API access to support complex strategies. It also adds custody and loan services designed for institutional users.
Program Overview
Bitget PRO builds on the exchange’s existing VIP tier but targets professional traders using APIs. The program streamlines capital deployment by offering better interest rates and priority support.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the offering is meant to be “the home base for crypto’s top‑tier participants,” giving them the tools to trade at scale with precision.
Eligibility and Benefits
Traders qualify for PRO levels automatically each day at 9:00 AM UTC+8 based on their activity over the prior 30 days. Those who do not meet the criteria slide back into the VIP tier.
For PRO 1 status, at least 20% of a user’s trading volume must come through API orders. As traders climb PRO tiers, they gain access to increasingly lower fees and other perks that vary by level.
Technical Advantages
Bitget PRO users receive higher API rate limits to run trading bots and algorithmic strategies without delays. They also get a secure private link to the exchange’s servers and more sub‑accounts to organise trading activities.
Priority technical support ensures that any issues with connectivity or order execution are addressed quickly by the dedicated API team.
Custody, Loans, and Market Making
Beyond trading, PRO members can tap into institutional loan services, borrowing assets at competitive rates to boost their effective leverage.

Withdrawal limits rise to accommodate large transfers, and custody options work with top providers to keep assets safe. Bitget also offers market‑making and broker programs to help professional traders earn additional income through liquidity provision.
Expanded Institutional Services
Earlier in the year, Bitget rolled out an Institutional Lending service that offers up to 5x leverage on spot trades, with plans to extend leverage to derivatives shortly.
The platform upgraded its over‑the‑counter desk to support big orders without market impact and teamed up with custodians such as Cobo and Fireblocks to enhance security. Its Unified Accounts feature allows traders to execute multiple pairs from a single wallet, simplifying risk management.
Transparency and Growth
Alongside Bitget PRO, the company released its May 2025 Transparency Report. The report shows that Bitget’s trading volumes and user activity grew even as the overall crypto market cap dipped from $3.6 trillion to $3.28 trillion and daily volumes fell to an average of $84.44 billion. These figures underline Bitget’s resilience and commitment to openness in a consolidating market.
Live Feature for Community Engagement
Bitget is also rolling out a live broadcasting feature to bring traders and fans closer together. Professional traders can stream their screens, share insights, and co‑host with other experts.
This tool aims to strengthen the exchange’s social layer, letting users learn trading techniques in real time and interact directly with seasoned market participants.
