WhiteBIT’s native token, WBT, surged by nearly 30% after the leading European crypto exchange announced an exclusive three-year sponsorship deal with Italian football powerhouse Juventus.
The partnership, which was unveiled on June 16, will see WhiteBIT serve as the official crypto exchange and jersey sleeve sponsor for the club until 2028.
Beginning with the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025, the WhiteBIT logo will be prominently featured on the sleeves of Juventus’ first men’s team kits.
The strategic alliance signals a growing intersection between the crypto industry and global sports, leveraging the massive reach of football to broaden cryptocurrency adoption.
Juventus and WhiteBIT Embrace Innovation in Long-Term Alliance
Juventus CEO Maurizio Scanavino hailed the partnership as a natural fit, pointing to the mutual dedication both organizations have to innovation and excellence.
He noted that the collaboration will go beyond brand placement and aims to offer new engagement avenues for fans around the world.
“We are strictly convinced that this collaboration will offer our fans worldwide lots of new engagement opportunities, leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance their connection with Juventus,” Scanavino said.
The long-term alignment suggests that Juventus sees blockchain as a key pillar in fan engagement and digital transformation over the coming years.

By connecting with the vast and loyal Juventus fanbase, WhiteBIT hopes to deepen public understanding of cryptocurrency, while also increasing adoption through tech-driven fan experiences.

Token Utility and Visibility Fuel WBT’s Market Performance
WBT, the core utility token of the WhiteBIT ecosystem, experienced a notable price jump due to increased investor interest following the sponsorship announcement.
The token not only provides trading fee discounts and priority features on the exchange, but also fuels operations on Whitechain.
With WhiteBIT’s brand now set to be exposed to millions of football fans worldwide, demand for WBT has intensified.
The wave of attention helped WBT climb over 60% in the past seven days, although the token has pulled back slightly in the last 24 hours, currently trading at $50.54 with a market cap of approximately $7.29 billion.
Crypto Sponsorships Rise as Blockchain Gains Ground in Sports
WhiteBIT’s deal with Juventus is part of a broader trend in which crypto firms are actively securing high-profile sports sponsorships.
Recently, Ronaldinho launched his own token “Star10” on BNB Chain, few months ago.
Coinbase partnered with the Canadian Football League, and FIFA unveiled its own blockchain with Avalanche.
In the UK, crypto companies are fast becoming major sponsors of Premier League clubs, investing nearly £130 million for the 2024–25 season to replace dwindling gambling sponsorships.
These moves underline how sports franchises are increasingly looking to Web3 and crypto solutions to engage fans, diversify revenue, and stay ahead in the digital age.
