Shiba INU’s official X (Twitter) handle, Lucie, announced that the beta version of the Shibarium game is now live. The game, called Shiba Eternity, marks a big shift in the Web3 gaming industry. This beta version went live on August 21, 2024, and is only accessible to users who have staked LEASH tokens. These users must connect their smart wallets to engage with the game. The aim is to gather feedback and make improvements before the full release.

Shiba Eternity Launches With New Features

The game has undergone a significant Web3 conversion. It’s now running on the mainnet of Shibarium. Shiba Eternity’s NFT-based inventory cards, which let players possess virtual goods in the game, are one of its main features.

There is a ranked mode in the beta version where users participate in 15-day tournaments and win prizes according to their rating. For the top 25 players, elite tournaments are also added, providing entry to special seasonal events.

Lucie made it clear in the announcement that Shiba Eternity is more than just an updated version of the previous title. It is a different creature. With a redesigned tutorial, improved in-game menus, and smoother performance, the game now provides an enhanced user experience.

Incentives have also been improved. Quicker game progression, more fulfilling objectives, and exclusive prizes for Web2 players who come back to the game are all available to gamers.

Beware of Scams After the Shiba Eternity Launch

As the game is still in closed beta, Lucie warned players to avoid falling for scammers. Testers have been warned not to click on any dubious links shared on X or other platforms because phishing assaults are frequent. Before connecting wallets to any website, the post advised manually entering the official website address and making sure it is correct. This is necessary to safeguard assets against con artists attempting to take advantage of the beta release.

Shiba Eternity represents a major leap for Shiba INU in the Web3 space. By introducing blockchain technology and NFTs into its game, Shiba Eternity provides a new level of ownership and engagement for players. The team is committed to making continuous updates and adjustments based on community feedback. As the game continues to evolve, it promises a more rewarding and secure gaming experience for its users.
