The DIN team has announced that it has been unable to contact its founder, Harold, for several hours, sparking concerns about his safety.
In an urgent message posted on X(Twitter), the team stated that it was reaching out to venture capital firms and media to help confirm Harold’s whereabouts.
DIN Founder Goes Missing in Myanmar
Harold had previously posted on his own X account that he was in Myanmar and had lost both his multi-signature wallet and laptop.
While his disappearance has raised alarms, the DIN team assured the community that the $DIN launch will proceed as scheduled, as the project’s 2/3 multi-signature approval system remains intact.
DIN’s Blockchain for AI Agents Moves Forward
Despite concerns over Harold’s disappearance, DIN remains committed to its roadmap. The project, which builds infrastructure for AI Agents and AI-powered decentralized applications (dApps), was formerly known as Web3Go.
Web3Go initially positioned itself as an intelligent data network, facilitating connections between people, data, and AI. Following its rebranding to DIN, the project introduced itself as the first blockchain dedicated to AI Agents, aiming to revolutionize how AI interacts with blockchain technology.
DIN Testnet Deployment and Airdrop Campaign
Amid the uncertainty surrounding Harold, DIN recently announced its Testnet deployment, which is scheduled to run from January 7 to February 4, 2025. The team has described the initial tasks as simple, allowing users to participate using the BNB Faucet.
The Testnet launch is expected to generate excitement within the community, particularly for those looking forward to a potential $DIN airdrop. The project’s social media accounts have been actively promoting participation, using a themed storyline to engage users.

“NIDnos, the evil AI data monopoly, disrupted our TGE with a snap! Let us travel through time with Galxe and join our testnet campaign to reverse it! DINgers, assemble,” the project announced.
Crypto Founders Facing Increased Risks
Harold’s sudden disappearance in Myanmar adds to a growing trend of crypto leaders facing mysterious disappearances, kidnappings, or legal troubles. Over the past few years, several crypto executives and project founders have gone missing under suspicious circumstances.
With the rise of DeFi, AI, and blockchain innovations, crypto founders have become targets for criminal organizations, regulatory crackdowns, and cyber threats.
Harold’s case is the latest reminder of the risks faced by high-profile figures in the crypto space, particularly in regions with weaker law enforcement protections.
As the DIN team continues its operations, the crypto community remains hopeful for Harold’s safe return. Meanwhile, the $DIN launch and Testnet deployment are moving forward as planned, underscoring the resilience of blockchain projects even in times of crisis.
