Nina Rong has been appointed as BNB Chain’s new Executive Director of Growth, bolstering the network’s global leadership team as it grows its worldwide footprint, ecosystem alliances, and developer initiatives.
Rong will spearhead international growth, strengthen developer involvement, and quicken ecosystem expansion within the BNB Chain network.
New leadership for BNB growth
Rong has a wealth of expertise in developing high-impact collaboration strategies and expanding global Web3 ecosystems. She formerly led the Arbitrum Foundation’s worldwide expansion and ecosystem projects as Head of Partnerships.

Before that, she oversaw regional collaborations at Offchain Labs, assisting with the network’s initial growth and integrating several developers and initiatives around Asia.

Roles and responsibilities
In her new position, Rong will be in charge of the three main pillars of BNB Chain’s growth plan. That is drawing elite builders and partners to the network.
Additionally, programs that assist developers through grants, education, tooling, and community engagement are being expanded. And expanding BNB Chain’s presence in important developing regions.

Rong has an MBA from Peking University and an engineering degree from the University of Waterloo. Her hiring is a reflection of BNB Chain’s ongoing commitment to long-term ecosystem growth as the network pushes the boundaries of consumer apps, infrastructure, and on-chain banking.
With a worldwide user and developer community, BNB Chain is one of the biggest and busiest blockchain ecosystems in the world. This is a very important and crucial role to take on, especially when you have a huge reputation to hold on to or good examples to follow, but how the new leadership turns out is yet to be seen.
