Blockchain hardware firm Canaan INC (NASDAQ listing: CAN) on January 7th announced the launch of its two new Bitcoin mining heating devices.
The products, named Avalon Mini 3 and Nano 3S’s were debuted at the CES in Las Vegas and are priced at $899 and $249 respectively
The two cutting-edge Bitcoin mining gadgets are made to make cryptocurrency mining more accessible to the general public and convert a home heating system into a mining equipment.
The innovation comes at a time when bringing Bitcoin mining to household realm will make the cumbersome process less tiring, giving a boost to the acceptance and usage of Bitcoin.
How Do The New Devices Function?
Canaan’s two innovative machines are meant to revolutionize cryptocurrency mining at home. With a hashrate of 37.5Th/s, the Avalon Mini 3 provides a special dual-use solution that combines effective Bitcoin mining with home heating.
For novices and miners alike, the app-controlled operation and elegant, silent design offer an incredibly user-friendly, energy-efficient solution.
This product is complemented by the Avalon Nano 3S, a low-cost, user-friendly Bitcoin mining device that is an improvement on the popular Avalon Nano 3 with a hashrate of 6Th/s.
It supports the larger objective of Bitcoin network decentralization and is perfect for individual users due to its small size, portability, and low power consumption.

How Does The Device Work?
The Avalon Mini 3 offers homeowners a novel approach to offset energy bills and lessen their impact on the environment by mining Bitcoin and heating living spaces at the same time.
This device transforms the computational labor of Bitcoin mining into a dual-purpose solution that offers both digital currency and home comfort by providing customers with creative access to heat recycling.

Canaan’s Previous Partnership
Canaan’s quest to make Bitcoin mining affordable is not new. The had previously, signed a contract with HIVE Digital Technologies for the supply of 6,500 of its Avalon A1566 mining machines, which are made especially for mining Bitcoin.
With a rate of about 185 terahashes per second (TH/s), these devices are true powerhouses for crypto mining. The first 500 machines are already en-route to HIVE and will be installed shortly.
The remaining machines will be delivered in phases over the course of the following several months, starting next month and ending in March 2025.
